After more than 30 years of experience in project management and civil engineering since graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in civil engineering, Brian has earn the respect of colleagues and clients throughout the Southeast. With a commitment to stay intimately involved in the design process of each project, Brian has developed a solution-oriented expertise in program management, master planning, airport design, feasibility studies, granstmanship, state, municipal and private development design, hydrology/hydraulics, regulatory review, value engineering and construction management. He is a member of both the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
BJ Martin, P.E.

BJ is a licensed Civil Engineer with more than 16 years of experience leading diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success on a wide array of infrastructure and development projects. He is well-rounded with strong technical and business qualifications and more than 12 years of hands on experience in project management, team leadership and operational strategies. Not only proficient in sustainability, urban design, stormwater, MS4 Permit implementation, Green Infrastructure (GI), and Low Impact Design (LID), his openness to innovative ideas has continued to give consideration to a new way of implementing solutions.
BJs multidisciplinary approach to management promotes teamwork and fosters a collaborative environment. This approach to resolving complex issues facilitates consensus, education, innovation and quality with timely and consistent job performance. The ability to successfully implement such an approach is due in part to his diverse management experience in municipal development, streetscapes, roadway, trails, urban design, site infrastructure, and bicycle/pedestrian improvement projects. Recent projects include the Atlanta Streetcar, Alpharetta Downtown City Center, Dunwoody Bike Retrofit Study, Haynes Bridge Road Roundabout and Alpharetta Greenway.
